1. Classification of Data Harvesting
To provide high-fidelity, multi-system astrological synthesis and biometric resonance, Astro Compass collects the following categories of data:
Biometric Digital Inputs (BDI)
We collect high-resolution images of palm patterns for Chiromancy (Palmistry) and facial structural data for Physiognomy (Face Reading) to facilitate physiological-celestial alignment.
Astro-Temporal Coordinates
Precise Date of Birth, Time of Birth, and Geographic Location (city/coordinates) are required for core chart calculations.
Identity & Authentication Metadata
Mobile phone numbers are collected for secure OTP-based login protocols; names and optional email addresses are used for transactional synchronization.
Relational Data (Family Tier)
For multi-user plans, birth details of designated family members are processed under the primary account holder's authorization.
Interrogatory & Telemetry Data
We record all queries submitted, specific astrological systems selected (Vedic, KP, Western, Chinese, Mayan), and technical device telemetry including IP addresses for security auditing.
2. Architectural Data Utilization & Neural Processing
Astro Compass utilizes advanced computational models and cloud infrastructure to provide predictive insights:
Proprietary Abstraction Layer
To generate strategic insights, your query data and astrological coordinates are transmitted via a secure proprietary abstraction layer to high-performance, third-party neural networks and large language models (LLMs) for real-time synthesis.
PII Minimization & Segregation
This abstraction process is designed to minimize the exposure of direct identifiers. In particular, external processing engines do not receive your phone number or email address during the prediction cycle; these direct identifiers remain within our own systems for authentication and communication.
Internal Database Management
All raw data, including original biometric images and birth charts, are stored within our secure, managed MongoDB environment for longitudinal data tracking and product improvement.
3. Data Retention, Sovereignty, and Account Lifecycle
To maintain the integrity of our predictive algorithms and provide a consistent user experience, the following protocols apply:
Non-Deletion Policy
To preserve the continuity of life-path data and maintain the accuracy of cumulative AI models, Astro Compass does not currently provide a manual, user-initiated account or data deletion interface.
Automated Lifecycle Maintenance
Astro Compass reserves the exclusive, discretionary right to archive or permanently purge data from accounts that have exhibited a status of systemic inactivity for a continuous period exceeding 24 months.
Irrevocable License
By submitting data, you grant Astro Compass a perpetual, royalty-free license to utilize anonymized, de-identified datasets for the purpose of refining and training our predictive engines.
4. Security & Authentication Protocols
Data Protection
All biometric and temporal data is housed in a secure, professionally managed database environment with strict access controls.
Secure Transit
Communications between your device, the Astro Compass application, and neural processing nodes are protected via industry-standard secure communication tunnels (such as HTTPS/TLS).
Authentication Security
We utilize password-free OTP (One-Time Password) authentication to mitigate risks associated with credential theft or password-spraying attacks.
5. Universal Access & Guardian Advisory
Unrestricted Access
Astro Compass is a tool for cultural exploration and self-discovery available to users of all ages; we do not implement a minimum age threshold for access.
Guardian Supervision
We recommend that minors and users under the age of 18 utilize the service under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian to ensure appropriate interpretation of the probabilistic data provided.
6. Third-Party Integrations & Limitations
Astro Compass utilizes trusted infrastructure providers for database hosting (MongoDB), payment processing (Razorpay), and neural synthesis. However, Astro Compass is not responsible for the independent privacy practices or data breaches of these third-party infrastructure entities. Each provider maintains its own privacy policy and security controls.
7. International Data Transfers & Consent
By utilizing the service, you provide explicit, informed consent for the international transfer of your digital inputs to cloud-based servers located outside your home jurisdiction. This includes processing in regions that may have different data protection standards than your local laws.
